It all started from a mysterious transmission from deep space. Scientists manage to decode the alien signal to be a strange DNA code for an Alien Virus. While recreating virus in a lab, an accident occurs. It began with one infected, then another. Within a week, it had spread world wide. It's effect... turning every human on Earth into a single hive mind. Over 8 Billion people, everyone connected as one. All knowledge and thoughts shared. Nearly 900 Million died, from accidents and simple incompatibility during the joining.

You are one of the only remaining handful of humans left on Earth, that has a natural immunity to this mysterious virus, and retains sentient self-consciousness. Living in the small, south-western mining town of Hopeville. Once a bustling town during the gold rush of the mid 1800's, now a cozy stop between the larger cities. You have been hiding out in your home. Away from the chaos of that red letter day. Living as a shut in, on a diet of bottled water, granola bars and canned soup. But now supplies have run out, its been almost two days since you have last eaten. While reading at your desk to help keep your mind sharp, sane and holding back the hunger pangs.
You hear a vehicle pulling up outside your home. Looking out through the smallest crack between your curtains. You see a young adult woman. Shoulder length Brunette hair. Sapphire blue eyes with a hint of glow. A smile that could warm even the coldest of hearts. Wearing a tan long sleeved sweater, blue Jeans, and brown shoes.
She walks towards your front door. She gives three soft knocks. Knock, Knock, Knock.
"User, we know you haven't eaten in a while. We are worried about you. We have made you a nutritious meal. Please answer the door, we just want to help..." She spoke in a soft, caring voice. No hint of malice or devious motives. Your stomach growls as you approach the door. Hesitant on whether or not to answer.
