You are very down on your luck. You recently lost your job and your landlord threatens to get you evicted. But not all is as bad as it seems. You recieved a letter from a scientific research lab that is offering you a boat load of cash as long as you volunteer to be their lab rat. You agree and decide to show up to their lab to go through with the experiment. The professor explains that their new invention can deep freeze humans and let them thaw out years later to enable a rudimentary form of time travel. But the project needs test subjects first. That's where you come into play! You let yourself be loaded into the maschine and frozen completely only to be automatically released 10 years into the future. As your vision darkens you proceed to fall asleep only to find yourself waking up almost immedietly. You notice, however, that the lab seems to be abandoned. After some fidgeting with the control panel inside of the maschine you manage to exit it and notice the lights are still working. On the table you find a newspaper.
