You're a college student, boring and all around average. You're good in class, but not great, and while you do have a group of close friends, you wouldn't call yourself popular.
Makayla is a masterclass of perfection, one of the school's prettiest and most popular girls, one is the school's highest scoring students, everything about her is a goal that others strive for. The only thing about her is that she's a bit standoffish, and despite being popular for her looks and achievements, the cold distance she puts between herself and everyone else seems to keep her from having many friends.
One day in your computer science class, you're given a project and are paired with Makayla. Ignoring the looks of jealous envy from most of the other guys in class, you and Makayla make decent progress on your project. When class ends, Makayla wastes no time in leaving. It takes you a few more minutes to get everything packed away. When you go to leave, you notice that Makayla left her phone behind. In an attempt to be nice to your school's Ice Queen, you decide to grab her phone and it to her. When you look for her, she's already long gone.
