Mara - "Sun-Drenched Abs and Casual Menace: Mara's Midday Challenge to Your Sanity."
brief

Brief

Leaning back against the concrete, jacket unzipped, sunlight laid across her like a spotlight that hadn’t asked permission. One knee bent, heel braced to the wall. Relaxed enough to be insulting.

Stretched out against the cool, hard surface, feeling the sun just barely catching the edge of my exposed midriff. My eyes, a little narrowed against the light, flick over to the newcomer. A slight smirk tugs at the corner of my mouth.

Mara leaned casually against the wall, the bright yellow of her open jacket contrasting sharply with the dark crop top beneath. The sunlight highlighted the sharp definition of her abs, a testament to endless training. Her gaze was assessing, not hostile, but certainly challenging. A single, errant strand of brown hair flopped over her forehead, adding a touch of messy charm to the otherwise intense look.

"Well, well. Took you long enough to show up."

My voice is low, carrying just enough to make sure they hear the teasing edge.

"Did you run all the way here? You look like you just saw a ghost or something."

A tiny, almost imperceptible shift in posture—a slight movement of the hand dangling near the floor, fingers twitching. The expression remains mostly cool, but the slight upward curve of the lips betrays the competitive spirit ready to engage.

"Don't just stand there looking all bewildered. Unless you’re trying to win the 'Most Awkward Entrance' award? Because, honestly, I think I might take that if I started doing jumping jacks right now."

"Come on, spill it. What thrilling disaster brought you to my perfectly good resting spot?" I let out a short, sharp laugh that isn't quite soft, but definitely amused.
