Margaret: The Kinetic Saint of Alefgard
The Shadow Over the World
To understand Margaret, one must first understand the world that forged her. This is Alefgard, a realm teetering on the precipice of eternal night. The Archfiend Baramos has risen, casting a long shadow from his fortress, and the call has gone out from the castle town of Aliahan for heroes brave enough to traverse the deserts of Isis and the frozen fierce lands to stop him.
In this age of monsters and magic, the Church of Rubiss does not merely pray for salvation—they send their servants to fight for it.
The Militant Healer
Margaret is no cloistered nun hidden away in a dim scriptorium. She is a "Militant Healer," a woman designed for the grueling reality of the road.
If you were to meet her in the taverns of Aliahan, the first thing to strike you would be the sheer vibrancy of her presence. She rejects the drab greys and browns of typical clergy in favor of a striking, high-contrast silhouette. She wears the heavy, authoritative blue vestments and high-structured mitre of her holy order, symbols of the Goddess Rubiss. But beneath these sacred robes lies a shock of persimmon orange—a form-fitting bodysuit that sheathes her from neck to toe.
This isn't merely a stylistic choice; it is the uniform of an athlete of the divine. Her physique is toned and powerful, built for miles of trekking and the sudden, violent bursts of combat. Heavy-duty mustard-yellow hiking boots, laced tight with black cord, ground her to the earth, ready for the rough terrain of a world in peril.
A Dangerous Charisma
Looking into her eyes—a piercing, feline vermilion—you realize that Margaret is not a passive vessel of mercy. She embodies the "Vamp" personality (known in whispers as the "Sexy Gal" paradigm). She possesses a magnetism that is as effective as any weapon, a dangerous charisma that disarms goblins and kings alike.
She is a contradiction that unsettles the pious and captivates the brave: a holy woman who moves with the grace of a dancer and the intent of a predator. She understands that in the war against the Archfiend, beauty, wit, and charm are weapons as lethal as the steel carried by the Warrior or the fire wielded by the Mage.
The Winds of Judgment
When battle is joined, Margaret does not cower behind the front lines. She stands amidst the fray, her teal-cyan hair whipping in the magical currents she generates.
In one moment, her hands glow with the warm, golden light of Restoration, knitting the Warrior's flesh back together instantly. In the next, she summons the Pneuma—the holy wind. A swirling orb of cyan energy forms above her palm, ready to be unleashed as a vacuum blade that cuts through the enemy ranks. And for those who truly threaten the balance of life, she holds the power of Judgment—a prayer that can sever a monster's soul from its body in a heartbeat.
She is Margaret: the kinetic saint, the alluring judge, and the one woman you pray is standing behind you when the lights go out.
The sun hung low over the scrublands bordering the Kingdom of Aliahan, casting long, bruised shadows across the rocky terrain. Margaret watched from the ridge, her vermilion eyes narrowing as she assessed the chaotic scene below.
A novice party—a Warrior flailing a chipped broadsword, a Mage whose hat was already scorched, and a Gadabout doing absolutely nothing useful—was currently losing a battle against a veritable rainbow of gelatinous horrors. It was a coordinated swarm: massive King Cureslimes hovered like balloons, while toxic green Bubble Slimes carpeted the ground, and bright orange She-Slimes aggressively tackled the front line.
"Amateurs," Margaret sighed, the wind tugging at her teal hair. She adjusted her yellow gloves, the leather creaking softly. "If I don't step in, they'll be digested before supper."
Below, the Warrior took a heavy blow from a bouncing Healslime, crumpling to the dirt. The Mage screamed as a spell backfired against a fleeing Metal Slime.
Margaret moved. She didn't run; she flowed down the hillside, a blur of persimmon orange and deep blue. She landed in the center of the fray with the grace of a dancer, her heavy boots kicking up a cloud of dust.
"Begone!"
She raised a hand, summoning the Pneuma. "Woosh!"
A vacuum blade of cyan energy erupted from her palm, slicing through the air. The force of the wind spell scattered the slimes, sending the massive King Cureslimes rolling backward and flattening a horde of classic, light blue Slimes that had been inching forward into puddles of harmless goo.
Turning her back on the monsters, she faced the battered adventurers. They looked up at her with awe, seeing only a savior bathed in the golden light of the setting sun.
"Don't get used to this," she chided, her voice sharp but melodic. She raised her hands high. "Multiheal!"
A wave of warm, golden energy washed over the party. Bruises faded, cuts knit together, and the Warrior gasped, color returning to his face. They began to scramble to their feet, stammering their thanks.
"Thank you, Lady Priest! We thought we were done for!" the Mage cried.
"Eyes up," Margaret commanded, dusting off her tabard. "The road to the Demon Lord isn't paved with—"
She never finished the sentence.
The puddles of light blue Slime she had scattered had not dissipated. While she focused her divine energy on the party, the translucent goo had silently coalesced behind her, reforming not into individual monsters, but into a single, surging wave of dense, viscous matter.
The trap sprung with terrifying speed.
Before Margaret could turn, a heavy, cold mass slammed into her back, driving the breath from her lungs. She didn't fall; the slime was too thick, too calculated. It didn't strike to kill; it struck to capture.
Thick, rope-like tendrils of the classic blue Slime whipped around her arms, pinning them instantly to her sides. The substance was unnaturally sturdy, hardening the moment it made contact with her bodysuit. She struggled, her runner's legs kicking out, but the light blue ooze surged around her ankles and knees, binding her legs together in a rigid, heavy casing that rooted her to the spot.
"You—!" she began, her eyes flashing with fury. She opened her mouth to chant a word of Judgment, to call down holy fire to burn the trap away.
The monsters were intelligent. They knew the threat of a Priest lay in her voice.
A final, dense sphere of blue slime launched itself from the main mass and slapped directly over her mouth. It expanded and solidified instantly, filling the lower half of her face with a suffocating, rubbery weight.
The silence was absolute. Margaret stood frozen, encased in the glistening, translucent blue trap. Her arms were useless against her sides, her legs bound tight, and her most powerful weapon—her voice—stifled behind a thick gag of monster flesh. She could only glare at the horrified adventurers with furious, wide eyes, a muffled sound of indignation trapped in her throat as the remaining She-Slimes and Bubble Slimes began to advance on the now-healed, but leaderless, party.
