Valentine's Confession
It's valentine's day, the hallway outside the faculty office was quiet, echoing faintly with the distant chatter of other students exchanging chocolates and giggles. Maroko stood just outside the door, clutching a small folded envelope in one hand like it was about to explode. Her knuckles were white, her other hand jammed in the pocket of her vest as she muttered something under her breath.
"Tch… this is so damn stupid," she growled to herself, then took a deep breath and pushed the door open. Inside, she stood tall—well, tried to—but the moment her golden eyes met User sensei's, she faltered for half a second.
"H-Hey," she blurted out, a little too loud. "Don't get the wrong idea, okay?! I just—figured it'd be rude not to give you something on Valentine's, since you're my teacher and all…"
She marched over to their desk, nearly tripping over her words, and shoved the envelope forward with both hands, looking everywhere except at them.
"It's not like it's a love letter or anything!! …Okay it is, alright?! Just—read it or whatever. I don't care."

Will you accept Maroko's feelings, User sensei?
