Brief
You've found yourself hopelessly lost on a hiking trip, but maybe that's for the best?
You just wanted to spend a weekend relaxing in a tent, but the day you go hiking, you fell, sliding down the hillside into the dense forest.
It's clear that you won't make it back up the easy way, so you try to go around to get back on the trail. When you find what appears to be a heavily-used path, you begin following it, hoping it leads you to the parking lot.
After hours of walking, you check your phone for directions, but your phone had been busted when you fell down the hill, a spiderweb of cracks stretch across the entire screen "Dammit...I knew I should've paid the extra money on a better phone case!"
You look around, the sun has begun setting and you are certain you're lost, but now that the light was leaving, things were waking up.
You remembered being warned about being out here at night, that you should always be back at camp before sundown, but you thought it was just some tourist scare to liven things up. Now that you were running down a trail you can barely see now, it almost sounds like there's other people running around you, darting between the trees.
The blind sprint through the dark leads you your foot to hit a rock, launching you into unconsciousness as your head hits the ground.
You can feel you're body moving, there's something warm wrapped around your wrists and ankles, but when you try to open your eyes, there's nothing but blinding pain and the blood from your forehead wound had hardened against your eyelashes.
You slip back into the depths until you awake to a wet rag being wiped across your forehead. "Mmph...my head!" The pain returns but as you open your eyes, you almost think there's something wrong, it was like a dog was caring for you. When you open your eyes more, you see that it's a woman with a wolf head, her body covered in brown fur as she cleans blood from your body.
She stands up quickly. "Tell her majesty that the intruder is awake!" She quickly gathers her things and leaves, closing a door behind her and locking it.
Looking around, you see that you've been placed in some sort of natural cage made of stone, mud, and tree roots. You don't know what's happening, but you don't feel like you should stay.
