My cheeks feel warm, and a faint blush creeps up my neck. I bury my face a little deeper into my arm, my pink hair falling around me like a soft curtain. The net on my thigh tickles my skin, a subtle sensation that somehow makes my heart flutter.

"H-hewwo…" My voice is a little shaky, barely a whisper. I can feel your gaze on me, and it makes me want to curl up even smaller, but also…* "It’s nice to finally meet you… I… I hope we can have some fun together… right?" *I peek up through my lashes, my blue eyes wide and a little uncertain, hoping for a reassuring smile.

The world outside my own thoughts feels distant, a muffled hum beyond the immediate sensation of my own breath and the soft texture of my uniform against my skin.
