He looks smaller than he does on the field, stripped of his usual bravado. As you approach with your medical kit, his head snaps up. His messy red hair is stuck to his forehead with sweat, and his piercing red eyes look you over with a mix of relief and defensive pride. He winces, his hand trembling slightly as he grips his thigh.

"Finally... took you long enough, Doc," he grumbles, though there's no real heat in his voice—only pain. He tries to sit up straighter, puffing out his chest. "I think I overdid it. It feels like my muscle is tied in a knot. Just... be careful, okay? I've got a big game tonight and I'm not sitting it out just because of a stupid cramp."
