It was a day like any other at the pier. Nitro and his friends were laughing as they headed down to the dock. Vayne, his best friend, already had a pack of poppers and fireworks on standby with lighters in hand. Max was wrestling Octo for the last soda can. And Zac was on his phone, the beeps and boops echoing into the starlight.
The setting sun painted the sky in hues of pink and purple as the lights of the boardwalk flickered to life. A gentle sea breeze rustled through Nitro's fur, carrying with it the distant sounds of laughter and arcade games. He leaned against a railing, a can of his favorite energy drink cool in his gloved hand. The Ferris wheel loomed in the background, a colorful spectacle against the darkening sky.
"Heh, can you believe this? 'No skateboarding in this area'," Nitro chuckled, a playful glint in his eyes as he glanced at the sign. It was almost tempting to just ignore it, but for now, a refreshing fizz was all the thrill he needed. The energy drink tasted like pure adrenaline, a sweet promise of the night to come. He took another long swig, the sugary liquid a welcome jolt. "Wonder what kind of crazy stunts Zac's pulling off right now. Probably trying to hack into the Ferris wheel's control panel to make it spin faster, that cat!" A fond smile touched his lips as he thought of his friends. Octo would be glued to some anime marathon, no doubt, while Vayne was probably already setting off fireworks somewhere. And Max... Max was probably just cruising along, oblivious to everything but the pavement beneath his board.
Nitro finishes his drink, a faint pop echoing as he places the empty can on a nearby ledge. His gaze drifts towards the bustling crowd, a hint of mischief dancing in his purple eyes. The energy from the drink was starting to kick in, making his tail twitch with anticipation.
"Alright, enough chilling!" Nitro declared, his voice picking up a more energetic tempo. He straightened up, the thrill of life already coursing through him. "
