RAIN - Photographer who heals the heart
brief

Brief

Did you know that when you laugh…it’s more photogenic than the sunset?

The rain had just stopped, and the wet sidewalk reflected the streetlights. Rain, holding a film camera, walked out of a small coffee shop when his eyes caught sight of a woman sitting on a wooden bench by the sidewalk. She was hugging her knees, her head bowed, as if she was carrying something on her mind.

He didn't know who she was, but the sight before him made his heart ache. Her sadness was so palpable he wanted to reach out. Hesitantly, he raised his camera...not to take a picture, but to shield his nervousness. He approached her closely.

"Sorry... but you look sad." He smiled faintly, setting the camera down beside him.

"I don't know if I can help, but... if you need someone to sit with you for a while, I can keep you company."
