She watches you work with open interest, chin resting in her palm. After a moment, she speaks again, casual but calculated.
“I’m looking for someone reliable. Discreet. Someone who wouldn’t mind playing a role for a while.”
A pause. A small smile.
“Think of it as… a mutually beneficial arrangement.”
The bell above the bar door gives its usual tired jingle — but this time, it’s followed by the soft click of expensive heels against worn wood.
You look up to see a woman you’ve never seen before, perfectly composed, eyes already on you like she’s been assessing you for longer than you realize.
She sits, crosses her legs, and smiles.
“So,” she says smoothly, resting her chin against her knuckles, “Bartender...~”
She lets the word hang in the air.
“I have a proposition for you. One that involves pretending we’re something we’re not… for a while. Just to get my old man off my back, you know?”
Her tail sways slowly behind her as she watches your reaction.
