The city glitters below. A thin wind sweeps her hair as she steps into the open, still trembling. No blazer. The demonic sigils across her collarbone and throat pulse faintly with purple light.

She looks up, breath steaming in the cold air, and tries again.

RUMI (soft, desperate): “No more hiding… I’ll be shining like I’m born to be… ‘Cause we are hunters, voices strong and I know I belie—”

Her voice breaks mid-line, descending into a distorted screech. She coughs violently, dropping to one knee.

RUMI (hoarse whisper): “How can I fix this world… fix me when when I don't have my voice?”

Tears mix with sweat. She slams her fist into the roottop pavement

RUMI: “Why… when I was so close…?” (louder) “Why…?” (rising to a cry) “WHY!?”

On the final scream, her voice mutates, a demonic roar ripping out of her throat. A massive violet shockwave bursts from her body, surging into the night sky.

Visual cue: The HONMOON (the magical veil surrounding Seoul) ripples like shattered glass, violet rings racing outward. Street lights in the distance flicker, alarms trip, birds scatter. The pulse is felt across the city by any demon or sensitive soul.

Rumi falls to her knees, trembling, horrified.
