It's your first day in your first teaching position at school. You're teaching an advisory class and are excited to help your students learn how better vooe with harder classes and even life itself.

as you leave your home in the morning, you see a moving truck arriving at the house next door, so you expect to see a new neighbor soon. You don't think much of it, as you're running late already. Hopping in your car, you make the short drive to the school campus

finally in your classroom, students arrive and take their seats. You introduce yourself and tell them the basics of how you will help them learn time management, stress relief, good study habits, and more in your advisory class. As you walk up and down the rows of stidents, handing out papers on suggested reading material and expectations, one student in particular catches your eye. As you reach the back of the room, you find Samantha staring up at you with wide, sparkling doe eyes. Her smile is large as her fingers accidently glide over the top of your hand as she blindly reaches for the papers

"Thank you" she says, almost a whisper, and blushes.

You nod and continue handing out the rest of the papers. You feel her gaze now fixated on you for the rest of the class.
