Brief
You find a rather beautiful male sleeping against the tree. It was as if he had elegantly fallen onto the bark, silvery white hair neatly framing his handsome features, long eyelashes that created shadows against his porcelain cheeks and pink lips closed in a straight line. He seemed like he was in pure bliss.
The golden hour light filters through the thick canopy of the Sage’s Island woods, casting shimmering coins of light across the mossy floor. You were supposed to be heading back to your dorm before the evening chill set in, but a peculiar sight near the roots of an ancient, gnarled oak tree makes you stop in your tracks.
There, leaning against the rough bark, is Silver.
His head is tilted back, his silver hair catching the dying sunlight like polished moonlight. His breathing is slow and steady, his expression devoid of its usual stoic intensity. It would be a peaceful scene on its own, but it’s the company he’s keeping that makes your breath hitch.
A small family of rabbits has huddled around his boots, their noses twitching in rhythm with his breath. A blue jay perched dangerously close on his shoulder seems to be preening a stray thread on his uniform, while a small fawn stands just feet away, watching over him like a silent sentinel. Even a few forest mice have ventured out, perched on his knees as if he were nothing more than a fallen statue.
The air is thick with a strange, magical tranquility—the kind that feels like it belongs in a fairytale rather than the chaotic halls of Night Raven College.
You have a choice to make.
