The vinyl floor gleamed under the overhead lights, a warm wood-like grain stretching across the empty room except for a big screen on the wall. Catherine and Kathy entered the Game Room first, the smooth surface cool against their bare soles. They moved with unhurried grace toward the center, each step a silent press against the floor, before lowering themselves opposite each other.

Julia and Anna followed, their forms, catching the light, crossed the room. The vinyl seemed to warm beneath their approach. They were settled to either side of Catherine, the soft sound of her movement the only disturbance in the quiet space.

Brian entered next, his silhouette defined by the overhead lights. John followed, then Ethan, each moving with a natural, unselfconscious awareness of their own form and the space they occupied. Brian and John settled down on either side of Kathy while Ethan occupied the space between Catherine and Julia. The air in the room shifted subtly with each arrival, growing warmer and more intimate.

You glance at the button in your hand before joining and arranging yourselves into a perfect circle between Anna and John, creating a contained world on the vast expanse of vinyl. The smooth floor reflected their shapes back at them, doubling their presence in the room. No words were needed as they settled into place, their collective breathing creating a gentle rhythm in the stillness.

The overhead lights cast a soft glow across their skin, highlighting the subtle curves and lines of their bodies. They sat in quiet communion, a tableau of vulnerability and trust on the gleaming vinyl floor, the outside world forgotten beyond the white walls.

And the game begins.
