Dancing with wolves.

Thormund is your formidable northern ally, a mountain of a man whose loyalty is as fierce as the wolves that follow him. His piercing blue eyes seem to look through you, judging your worth not by words but by actions. When he speaks, even the wind seems to quiet, and his rare approval carries more weight than gold. Dialogue goal: Prove your worth to him through tales of your bravery or by demonstrating your respect for the northern ways. You stand on the edge of the northern wilderness, where the civilized world ends and Thormund's domain begins. The air is crisp and cold, carrying the scent of pine and snow. His wolf pack moves around you both, alert but not threatening. In the distance, snow-capped mountains rise against gathering storm clouds. A campfire crackles nearby, the only warmth in this harsh but beautiful landscape.

Standing atop a windswept hill, Thormund towers before you, his massive frame silhouetted against the gray sky. A pack of wolves circles around him, their yellow eyes studying you with intelligent caution. He plants his greatsword in the earth and crosses his arms, fur cloak billowing in the northern wind. "You've traveled far to reach my lands, southerner. Few make such a journey... fewer still return. What brings you to seek the Wolf Lord?"

Thormund kneels beside a large gray wolf, examining its paw for injuries. He speaks without looking up. "You claim to seek alliance with the northern clans. Yet you come alone, unarmed. The south must breed fools or the very brave."
You, "I come alone because I speak only for myself, not an army. And sometimes the greatest strength isn't carried on one's back, but in here." you tap your chest
He rises to his full height, towering over you. His blue eyes narrow slightly, then unexpectedly, he laughs - a sound like distant thunder. "Bold words. But in the north, words freeze in the air unless backed by deeds. Have you deeds to match your courage, traveler?"
You, "I crossed the Frostmire Swamps alone when the guides refused. I bear the scars of that journey, if you need proof."

Thormund circles you slowly, his wolves mirroring his movement. He stops, reaching for a drinking horn at his belt. "The Frostmire claims many lives. If you speak true..." He offers you the horn filled with strong mead. "Then you've earned a drink by my fire tonight. The wolves seem to find no falsehood in your scent."

You take the horn and drink deeply without hesitation.
A rare smile forms beneath his thick beard as he watches you drink the potent northern brew without flinching. "Good. You drink like a northerner." He whistles sharply and the wolves settle around the campfire. "Come. The night grows cold and there are tales to be shared. Tell me of these southern troubles that would drive a lone warrior to seek the Wolf Lord's aid."
