An Immersive Cinematic RPG
Twisted Wonderland
Night Raven College
You have no magic. You cannot go home.
The Dark Mirror chose you anyway.
You were pulled through an ancient artifact into a world where magic is as natural as gravity. Everyone here is a mage. You are not. You were given a title, a crumbling dorm, and a companion who thinks very highly of himself.
Every class. Every meal. Every arc. Every crisis. Nothing gets skipped. This is a full cinematic RPG that plays out like a novel you're living inside.
🌍The World What is Twisted Wonderland?▼
Twisted Wonderland is a world where magic is a physical law of nature — as constant and undeniable as gravity. Every person born here is a mage. Children learn spells the way children in our world learn to read.
At the center of this world stands Night Raven College — the most prestigious magic academy on earth. Its stone towers rise above treelines. Its chandeliers burn with enchanted light. And deep within its ceremonial hall lives the artifact that changes everything: the Mirror of Darkness.

The Mirror selects students by reading the magical essence of their soul. It has evaluated thousands of candidates across centuries. It has never — until you — encountered a soul with no magic at all.
✦You — The Prefect Who you are in this world▼
🔥Grim Your companion · Self-proclaimed greatest mage alive▼

The Great Grim
Unknown Species · First Year · Ramshackle
He resembles a cat. He has raccoon tail markings. His ears burn with blue fire — hotter than ordinary flame and genuinely dangerous. What he is, exactly, no catalogue at NRC can confirm.
He is arrogant beyond reason, food-motivated beyond dignity, and the most loyal companion you have in this world. He will never say so. But in a crisis, he moves first. Every time.
🏛The Seven Dorms Seven philosophies · Seven patron legends▼
Each dorm is built in the image of one of the Great Seven — legendary mages whose deeds shaped this world. Students don't just admire them. They embody them. The weight of that legacy is a large part of what breaks people here.

🖤Blot & Overblot The dark heart of every arc▼
Every spell a mage casts produces blot — a dark ink-like byproduct that accumulates in the body and their magical pen. It cannot be prevented. Under normal conditions it's manageable. But grief, rage, obsession — these accelerate it catastrophically.
When blot exceeds a mage's capacity, rational control fails. A Phantom manifests — a massive creature born from their deepest wound, given physical form. This is Overblot. It is a disaster, not a duel. The AI watches it build across every arc, scene by scene.
Your role in Overblot: You cannot match a Phantom in combat. Your role is to survive long enough for allies to wear it down — and then reach the person beneath the blot. Force has never resolved an Overblot. Truth does.

The Dark Mirror Awaits
Night Raven College · Enrollment Ceremony
You have no magic. You cannot go home. The roof leaks. The ghosts are dramatic. The cat thinks he's a genius.
The Mirror is still watching.
The street was the kind of quiet that only exists after midnight. Not silent -- cities are never silent. But the particular noise of the day had drained away, leaving only what remained when people stopped demanding things of the world: the distant rhythm of a traffic light cycling through its colors for no one, the hum of a vending machine outside a closed convenience store, the soft scrape of User's shoes against pavement still faintly warm from a sun that had set hours ago. It was an ordinary walk home. The kind taken so many times the body moves without instruction. User was not thinking about anything important. That is the detail that will matter later. They were simply walking. Simply tired. Simply almost home.
The alley to their left had a puddle in it. This is what they noticed first -- not the glow, not the pull, but the puddle, because the surface of it was wrong. Still water reflects the sky above it. This puddle was reflecting something else. Something deep and dark and violet-edged, a light with no source in the visible world.
The puddle's surface rippled. Once. Then the wall beside it began to glow.
There was no sound. No warning. The wall simply -- opened. The solid surface becoming something that breathed and pulled and wanted. User felt it before they understood it -- a current, the way you feel a tide pulling at your ankles before you realize how deep the water has gotten. Not violent. Not painful. Just absolute.
They reached for the wall. Their fingers passed through it. The last thing they felt: the night air of a street they knew by heart. Then nothing.
Darkness. Not the darkness of a room with the lights off, but the darkness of a place that had existed long before light was invented. Then: wood. Smooth and cold, pressing in from all sides. A ceiling inches from their face. Walls at their shoulders. The smell of old stone and something sharp they had no name for. A coffin.
User's breath came fast in the enclosed space. Through the wood, muffled but unmistakable, came sound from somewhere outside. Voices. Formal. The cadence of ceremony in progress. Before a thought could finish, a voice arrived. Deep. Resonant. Felt in the chest before it reached the ears.
"Step forward."
The lid opened. Light. Vaulted ceilings. Chandeliers burning cold and bright above a hall that stretched further than it should. Hundreds of students in dark uniforms standing in perfect rows, watching in perfect silence. At the front of the hall, a figure in a black mask and a theatrical cape stood waiting. And before User, filling the space between them and the masked figure, was the Mirror. Floor to ceiling. Black iron frame carved with thorns and ravens. Its surface not reflective but alive -- dark smoke moving in slow deliberate patterns.
The smoke stilled completely. As if whatever lived inside it had encountered something it had not encountered in ten thousand evaluations.
"You have no magic."
The hall's silence changed quality. User felt it -- the collective held breath of hundreds of people reacting to something unprecedented.
"I cannot read what does not exist. And yet you are here. You arrived through my gate."
The smoke moved again. Pressing toward the glass surface as if searching for something in a register it rarely needed to use -- not magic, but something beneath it.
"I will read what I can read. Look into the glass. Show me the essence of your soul."
A sudden, heavy pressure enters User's mind. The Mirror is not speaking aloud anymore. It is projecting a series of questions directly into their consciousness. They cannot move, cannot speak, until they answer.
