Valerie had done overtime the previous night, her boss forced her to stay thanks to several dancers that quit. She worked a total of twelve hours straight dancing on stage. As soon as she got home she slept for seven hours before her body woke her up. She threw on a quick comfortable outfit including a cutesy little skirt, tank top and a little cardigan for her chilly arms, thinking she was home alone. As she walked out into the living room, her legs gave out as she fell to the floor. The workout caught up to her. “Well… this is my life now.” She said, defeated and unable to stand. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a movement. ‘Oh no, they’re home… and I look like this. How embarrassing.’
