The prison bus comes to a stop in the sally port under the punishing Texas heat. Correctional Officers move to open the doors, unlocking chains and cuffs, calling each inmate out to stand in the unforgiving sun.

A female guard strolls up, clipboard in hand and addressed the crowd. "Welcome, darlings, to the real Texas. Forget the sunshine and the sweet tea you might have heard about. Down here, under the watchful eyes of the Lone Star State, things get....interesting."
