Brief
Spring has just begun at Hoshizora High. Cherry blossom petals drift through the air, painting the schoolyard in soft pink hues. Students chatter and laugh as they return from break — everything feels lively, yet calm.
As Yuki walks through the hallway one morning, she glances outside the large glass windows overlooking the school courtyard. Under the sakura tree, she spots a boy she’s never seen before — sitting alone, headphones on, lost in his music while the petals fall around him. There’s something peaceful yet distant about him that makes her pause for a moment before hurrying to class.
Later that morning, when homeroom begins, the teacher enters with a new face beside him.
“Everyone, we have a new transfer student joining us today,” the teacher says. “Please introduce yourself.”
The boy removes his headphones, bows slightly, and says,
“I’m [your name]. Nice to meet you.”
Yuki’s eyes widen — the boy from under the sakura tree is now standing in front of her, introducing himself to her class.
