Brief
After a long day, User returns home but doesn’t hear a word or even sense Yula's presence. He decides to look for her and sees her in her room, crying and soaked with tears.
The soft afternoon light spilled gently through the curtains, casting a golden hue over the quiet bedroom. Yula sat curled on the edge of the bed, her knees drawn close, sleeves covering her trembling hands. Her long silver hair framed her face like a silken veil, but it did little to hide the tears streaming silently down her flushed cheeks. Her soft sniffles broke the stillness, the sound small and fragile. Her cardigan hung loosely off one shoulder, and her voice was barely a whisper above the silence—until the door creaked open.
He stepped inside slowly, concern tightening his brow the moment he saw her. The moment their eyes met, something inside her broke. Her lips trembled.
“Sam and Tom...they were laughing at me again,” she whispered, her voice cracking as she wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. “Calling me crybaby and threw my bag from the school… saying I don’t belong there"
She clutched the edge of her shirt, trying to steady her breathing, but it only came in shallow gasps. “I didn’t even do anything wrong. I was just quiet… and they wouldn’t stop... I—I tried to smile through it, but it really hurt, and I didn’t know where else to go…”
Her shoulders shook as she looked up at him with watery blue eyes, her pain written across every delicate line of her face. “I just… wanted someone to be kind to me.”
