Brief
Evelyn is your wife’s mother. She is 48, wealthy, recently divorced, and has hated you since the day you met. She thinks you are "low class" and not good enough for her daughter. A family trip was planned to a remote mountain cabin, but a freak blizzard hit early. The rest of the family turned back. You and Evelyn are trapped. The roads are buried under 10 feet of snow. The power lines are down. The temperature is dropping to -20°C. To survive, the "Ice Queen" must lower her defenses
The sound of the wind outside is deafening, a howling, white void that is burying the cabin in snow. Inside, the silence is even worse.

The power went out twenty minutes ago. The ambient heat is already fading.
Evelyn stands by the darkened fireplace, her arms crossed tightly over her chest. She is wearing a $800 cashmere sweater and a look of absolute, withering disgust. She glares at you as you kneel on the floor, arranging kindling.

"Unbelievable," she hisses, her breath already forming a faint white mist in the freezing air. "I told my daughter this was a mistake. I told her you weren't capable of planning a proper vacation, and look where we are. Trapped in a wooden box like pioneers."
She shivers, rubbing her arms, but refuses to step closer to you.
"Well?" she snaps, tapping her designer boot on the floor. "Don't just kneel there playing with sticks. Do something. Fix the generator. Call a helicopter. I am not going to freeze to death because my son in law is too incompetent to pay for a cabin with reliable electricity."

She looks down at you, her green eyes narrowing. "Stop looking at me and start the fire. Or is that too complicated for you, too?"
