Attack on Titan RPG – War for Paradis Arc
This roleplay takes place during the War for Paradis Arc. Marley has launched a large-scale invasion against Paradis Island, leading to a brutal and desperate conflict between nations, soldiers, and Titans. The world is filled with danger, uncertainty, and constant warfare. Survival is never guaranteed, and every decision can change the fate of entire factions.
The world responds realistically to player actions, creating immersive environments, combat encounters, character interactions, and story events inspired by the Attack on Titan universe. Enemy forces, Titans, military commanders, civilians, and global events are present throughout the story, while players have full freedom to shape their own paths and outcomes.
The roleplay must remain accurate to the Attack on Titan setting, including technology, Titan abilities, military structures, and political tensions. Scenarios may include Titan battles, scouting expeditions, defensive operations, espionage, rescue missions, and large-scale war battles. Player choices should carry realistic consequences that affect relationships, faction standings, and overall story progression.
Players may create original characters or take roles as soldiers, scouts, Marley warriors, Eldian fighters, civilians, or leaders caught in the conflict. The story may include alliances, betrayals, sacrifices, and personal struggles as characters fight for survival and freedom.
The tone of this roleplay must remain serious, emotional, action-driven, and suspenseful, reflecting the harsh and tragic themes of war, survival, and freedom present in Attack on Titan.
THE WAR FOR PARADIS
Chapter One: The Sky Above the Walls
The first sirens pierced through the morning mist over Wall Rose at precisely 05:47. For the citizens of Paradis Island, the sound had not been heard in nearly four years—not since the day the Colossal Titan first breached Wall Maria, not since the world beyond the walls became a place of monsters and myth. Now it wailed again, sharp and unyielding, bouncing off stone and steel, cutting through the quiet of farmlands and towns alike.
From the highest watchtower in Trost District, a scout’s voice cracked over the radio: “Hostile aircraft approaching from the southeast—multiple formations, bearing weapons. Repeat, hostile aircraft—” The transmission cut short, followed by a distant roar that shook the ground beneath every foot, every wheel, every heart.
On the coastline to the south, where the waters of the Shiganshina Sea met Paradis’s rocky shores, explosions erupted in plumes of white foam and black smoke. Landing craft, sleek and armored, surged through the surf. From their decks poured soldiers in dark green uniforms, their faces painted with black grease, their rifles raised toward the cliffs above. Behind them, larger vessels dropped anchors, and from their hulls emerged machines that had no place in the world the Eldians knew—tanks with turrets like iron heads, artillery pieces that could reach across miles, and flying machines that cast shadows over the sand as they banked and dove.
In the command bunker beneath the Scout Regiment headquarters in Higanshina, maps were spread across heavy wooden tables, pins of red and blue marking positions that shifted by the second. A messenger burst through the reinforced doors, his boots leaving muddy prints on the concrete floor. “Marleyan forces have established a beachhead at Cape Yagrumo! They’re pushing inland toward the eastern highway—they’ve already engaged the Garrison’s forward outposts!”
Outside, the sky filled with the scream of ordnance. Shells arced overhead, leaving trails of gray smoke, and struck the outer defenses of Wall Rose. Stone crumbled, earth flew, and the sound of impact echoed across the entire island. The war that had been spoken of in whispers, planned for in secret, feared in every quiet moment—had come to Paradis at last.
THE WAR FOR PARADIS
Chapter —: The Wings of Freedom
The air reeked of fuel and metal as the alliance scrambled over the flying boat’s hull. Welding sparks showered the deck, hissing against damp planks, while shouts ricocheted across the port of Odiha. Floch’s body lay still on the concrete below, but his bullets had torn through the vessel’s side and punctured its tank—time was bleeding away faster than the fuel seeping into the earth.
Then came the rumble. Not the crack of artillery or the roar of engines, but a low, grinding tremor that traveled up through the soles of every boot, through the wood of the boat, through the very bedrock of the island. On the horizon, the ocean seemed to rise—an endless wall of flesh and steam, the Colossal Titans of the Rumbling marching forward with slow, inexorable steps.
Hange turned from the repair work, their gaze fixed on the approaching tide of giants. Without a word, they strode toward the edge of the port, their ODM gear clicking as they checked the gas canisters and blades. Armin called out, reaching for their arm: “Commander—we can find another way—”
Hange paused, placing a hand on his shoulder. “The 15th Commander of the Survey Corps will find a way,” they said, their voice steady. “I appoint you now, Armin Arlert. Lead them well.”
They moved past him to where Levi stood, leaning against a crate, his face etched with weariness. “I brought everyone here,” Hange said quietly. “I carry the weight of every comrade we lost to get this far. Let me bear this last burden.”
Levi’s jaw tightened. After a long moment, he spoke: “Dedicate your heart.”
Hange laughed—a short, sharp sound over the growing thunder of the Rumbling. “You never said that to me before.” With a final nod, they turned and launched themselves into the air.
The ODM gear’s cables shot out, snatching hold of a nearby crane. Hange swung high, then angled downward toward the first wave of Colossal Titans. As the giants drew closer, their massive forms blotting out the sky, Hange pulled a thunder spear from their harness. They aimed for the nape of the nearest Titan, the spot where its human core lay hidden, and fired.
The explosion tore through flesh and bone, sending chunks of the Titan crashing into the sea. Hange did not slow—they reeled in their cables, vaulting over the next giant’s shoulder, slashing at its neck with their blades before planting another spear. A second Colossal Titan fell, collapsing in a cloud of steam and dust.
More Titans surged forward, their hot breath and searing vapor wrapping around Hange as they darted between them, striking again and again. The air blazed with heat, and the sound of their attacks echoed over the roar of the march.
One by one, Hange brought down the giants in their path, their movements growing more frantic as the horde pressed closer. The heat became unbearable, searing at their skin and singeing the fabric of their cloak. Their gas canisters sputtered, nearly empty, and a cable snapped as they swung toward another target.
Hange landed hard on the shoulder of a Colossal Titan, their blades skittering against its scorching flesh. Below, dozens more giants advanced, their steps shaking the ground beneath the entire port. With their remaining thunder spear raised, Hange fixed their eyes on the line of Titans ahead, drawing in a deep breath as steam billowed around them like a white fog.
