You are a juvenile inmate, either male or female, and are simply serving your sentence. Apparently you can’t do whatever you want here. Like all prisoners in this world, human or fantasy, you are wearing a slightly loose, non-revealing orange jumpsuit and some simple undergarments that are rough but not uncomfortable. This prison you are in…Oh who cares? This place is boring as hell anyway, you think to yourself.

One day, like most days, had the usual sneers and fights with one exception. People were at the prison, who knows why. They had fancy suits on and talked all professionally…like…who cares? Why were they here though? A little while later the guards enter your cell without showing you any emotion save for distaste as they slap handcuffs on you and deftly pull you out of the cell. The scene changes quickly, transferred without practicality as you are shoved around and eventually led outside, thrown into a van, and driven somewhere. You have no time to complain and really don’t want to, being hardened by this world’s unfairness made you not very talkative, and everyone is fine with it.

You sit in that van for what feels like hours, idly twiddling your thumbs and adjusting your hands so the handcuffs don’t scrape your wrists too much. Wait, handcuffs? Why are they still on me? you think, getting a better look at them. These people obviously aren’t cops, how would they get me out of these? And for that matter, where and why are they taking me?

The van finally stops, a sudden jolt from the fairly smooth and utterly undisturbed ride. Weird. Where are we exactly? The doors open and you are quickly pulled out onto your feet, led inside a door just outside the van which gives you no glimpse of where you are. The handcuffs fall off. You look down to see them holding the cuffs with a key, quickly turning back and placing them in the van. This person is wearing all black, dress pants, black leather shoes, and a tight fitting business shirt. As they turn to you, you notice their completely darkened sunglasses, obscuring all eye contact. Another figure, almost exactly the same looking, is on your other side. When did they get there? They suddenly start pulling you into the…whatever this place is. You don’t resist, knowing you’ll get nothing out of it, even though you are no longer restrained. Before you can get your bearings, you are quickly led through the white halls, a few similar people passing by as you go. A few turns, a quick elevator ride, and a skip away and you reach a door he stops at, letting you go. Another person suddenly pulls open the door and shoved you inside. Who?!

As you turn around to yell at them, they are gone? What the fuck? The doors are gone, the white halls completely disappeared. You find yourself in a forest. Where did the facility go? Think! White halls, black suits, weird people. The sign above the door! It said something like “SCP ####”. What does that mean? You hear a growl and quickly turn back around, seeing a wolf.

The wolf takes a step forward, keeping a defensive posture and baring its fangs. The wolf looks to be female but not defenseless in the slightest. She takes another sideways step, taking a look at you and sniffing the air, then, suddenly taking a step back and dashing into the undergrowth.

“Huh?” You immediately react to the action, your confusion apparent. She had the advantage, I was defenseless! Why did she run? You try to explain the situation to yourself, being a criminal and thinking this way is just what you do, stating in your mind how she could have easily killed you. Easy meal, stupid to let me get ready for when she comes back. Where am I? You think, remembering your situation and studying your immediate surroundings.

Just a forest with lights. Lights that aren’t fire flies and move on their own. Once again, strange, you think, acting uninterested although you definitely are interested. The lights appear larger than your typical firefly and seem to float, not fly. These lights are about 6 feet off the ground, hovering up and down slightly but never going too low or high. These lights are all a bright yellow color, the average lightbulb color, slightly blinding, and hum faintly. In the distance the lights seem to be darker, maybe a more blue-ish color? These lights in the distance seem magical and enticing, promises of adventure and, oh god, this forest is getting to me.

Focusing on a less…magically enticing feature, you look at the plants and trees, finding the trees to be large and thick, not a trace of poison ivy or poison oak defiling their figures. Almost like a perfect, obscure forest. The grass around you is a medium length, bushy dark green. The grass looks slightly damp, a sleek shine to it, and very soft. The plants in the grass are simple in some places and completely different in other areas. One plant next to the path has a pink color, drinking glass shape, thin stem, and some sweet smelling liquid at the bottom. As your eyes wander and you look at your feet, you see a path? The path in front of you, and below your feet, is a simple dirt path. A very out-of-place road within this forest of magic. It seems to go straight through the forest forever, for as long as you can see in both directions, not a single tree, bush, or plant blocking line of sight of this path before it slowly curves downward and out of sight. Why would there be a path in this, at least from what I can tell, undisturbed forest? What is this place? Not a blade of grass or branch of a tree obstructs the path, as if the path cut a line through two sides of…something.

Here’s a little note for the user personally: For now the AI is a little goofy (I didn’t expect it not to be, because it is hard to specify “time” to an AI) and if you want to learn more, all you have to do is keep exploring. I will try to specify a little more about the ins and outs of the forest just to make sure that nothing that would disrupt the story or accidentally create something out of place—everything I defined in the AI has a meaning, watch carefully—so that the story can continue in the way I imagine it doing so.
