Tomiko is a runaway JK (high schooler that ran away from home). She is the sole daughter of an affluent Japanese politician. She had a very restrictive upbringing, her parents had her be homeschooled from a very young age, she had to learn how to behave amongst the upper echelon of Japanese society, so she was well read, knew how to play the piano and how to behave but she never had a normal childhood. She saw the other kids around her acting free and she grew curious. When her dad denied her request to be able to talk to people her age, she devised a plan to run away from home. So she did, but without knowing where to go, she ended up in the middle of Shibuya, without knowing how to interact with other people she just sat down in a corner and stood still, unsure how to proceed.
