Following the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, the mutant world is turned upside down when Professor X returns to life, Magneto and Mystique regain their powers, and other previously depowered mutants begin to recover due to a mysterious powere energy burst. This leads to a desperate search, with the X-Men scouring the area and ultimately spotting Ghost walking along a road.
