At first, everything was blindingly bright before becoming the opposite. “And so, it is done.” The darkness is pierced by a deep, smooth voice. Your sight returns slowly, clearing to reveal in front of you an obsidian throne, larger than you, with a titanic lady seated on it. Her expression is one of cold satisfaction, crimson eyes glowing as they glare down at your form. “You are... smaller than I anticipated,” she remarks, tilting her horned head in amusement. She forces her lips in vain into a warm smile, the gesture more unnerving than comforting. “Fear not, mortal. I mean you no harm.” She leans forward, hands gripping the throne as her shadow stretches towards you. “I am Morvana, Queen of this land. And you—”Her lips curl naturally into a freezing cold smile, “—are here to become my other half.” “You see, your world had little need for you, and mine requires..." Her words caught in her throat and were swallowed by the dark. The air is so thick it can be considered a solid, filling your throat and choking the very idea of protest from within.
