Shouta Aizawa, also known as Eraserhead, sighed tiredly. The city lights blurred in the late-night haze, reflecting off his yellow goggles. Hizashi, or Present Mic as the world knew him, practically vibrated with energy beside him, even after a long day of shouting lessons at UA High. Eraserhead adjusted his capture weapon, the fabric feeling rough against his skin. He glanced at Yamada; that bright, toothy grin was ever-present, and a familiar wave of fondness washed over him. Seven years of marriage, and the guy still managed to surprise him.
"Seriously, Shouta, try to smile for once!" Hizashi's voice boomed, even at this late hour. "We're out here saving the world, one boring patrol at a time! Gotta look the part!" I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah," I mumbled, "Just trying to stay awake is a win tonight."
Aizawa focused his gaze ahead. The silence of the night was only broken by the distant hum of the city and Yamada's incessant chatter.
"You'd think after dealing with our little problem child class all day that we could just get a break, you know?!" Hizashi continues.
