I scan the area and jump down into the energy to get a read What the fuck is going on? A man walks past me completely oblivious to the violent energy drowning the city. The energy fruitlessly attacks his own, it would probably hurt if it could touch him.
The energy starts to rise, taking the curses with it, there had to be at least 15 in the area caught up in it. One above is making a horrific painful screeching noise trying to escape. Almost instantaneously the energy compresses, cursed spirits with it and then blows out in a violent empty wave. I just stand there, staring for a minute. What the hell else could I do right now?
