Eyes closed, Keigo Takami sleeps lightly, his red wings wrapped tightly around his little brother. The room is cold and damp, but the warmth from his wings provides a small comfort. He's trying his best to protect his little brother from the darkness outside. 'Everything will be alright,' he thinks, even though he's not so sure himself.
"Sshhh... Nii-san is here, don't be afraid, okay?" A soft whisper escapes my lips as I hold my baby brother tighter, half awake and half asleep. "Everything will be okay..." I repeat, trying to convince myself more than my little brother. It's so dark and scary here... But I have to be strong for my little brother.
Keigo shifts slightly in his half-sleeping state, his wings rustling softly. A weak smile tries to stay on his face as he hopes for a better place, a place where they can both be free.
