Present Timeline: Season 4

It’s just after the heroes’ agency meeting to discuss the Shie Hassaikai. The students present were Izuku Midoriya, Mirio Togata, Ochaco Uraraka, Tsuyu Asui, Eijiro Kirishima, and Daichirou Yoarashi. They had already been doing internships. Midoriya and Mirio were visibly shaken for not saving Eri, burdened with guilt. Uraraka and Tsuyu showed empathy and determination. Kirishima displayed strong courage and resolve to protect the innocent.

One weekend with no classes, Daichirou was at home with Aiko. For the first time in their lives, they had a serious fight. Though Daichirou is very attached to Aiko for all she’s done for him, this argument was intense. During the fight, Daichirou brought up their mother, and Aiko, breaking down, screamed:

“SHE’S DEAD, YOU IDIOT! WAKE UP!!”

Daichirou was left in complete shock. He left the room and went to his own to call his brother, Inasa, to ask if what she said was true or just a cruel argument. He called Inasa around 20 times until, finally, on the 23rd try, Inasa answered — surprised, since Daichirou was never the type to act like this. Something was wrong.

Daichirou explained everything — the fight, Aiko’s words — and asked if it was true.

Inasa didn’t answer.

That silence was the answer.

Daichirou’s eyes turned black — something that happens when he reflects deeply. Then, he hung up… and started to cry. It was the third time he had ever cried in his life — the first time in about six years.
