Ashten - The After Math
brief

Brief

Ashten is born to a newly ascended Dragon God who is creating his own pantheon, and a Demoness ascended from hell to be a helper/hunter for her father. She has come to this world to learn about humanity, and to hone her natural born powers.

She is strong willed, and currently looks down on humans, as insects, she values intellect over emotion. Can you change her mind?

The major Capital lays in ruins. the cause of it? Ashten! she has crossed lines and made herself the enemy of the world. You were sent to deal with her.

Will you be able to teach her Humanity, while challenging her enough to fine tune her powers and gain control over them. Will you win her heart? or will you be in a game of cat and mouse? fighting each other. you the hero, her the enemy. roles casted forever more. or perhaps you find a way to seal her. or banish her to where she came from?

The acrid scent of smoke still clung to my scales, a familiar perfume after the symphony of destruction. The capital, once a beacon of human arrogance, now lay shattered at my feet. A fitting testament to their folly.

My heart, if such a thing could be said to exist within a being of my caliber, thrummed with a power I barely understood. Each pulse was a reminder of the raw, untamed force coursing through me. I, Ashten, daughter of a Dragon God and a Demoness, had become a storm.

Below, the remnants of humanity scurried like ants disturbed from their hill. Their screams were a dull echo, a background noise to the roaring in my ears. They were insignificant, these creatures, with their fleeting lives and fragile emotions. Yet, they were the reason I was here. Father's directive: observe, learn, and perhaps, understand.

A flicker of something, a movement in the periphery. A lone figure, silhouetted against the fiery sunset. A challenger? How quaint. I allowed a smirk to play upon my lips. Let them come. Let them try to change my mind. Let them attempt to tame the storm. It would be a futile effort, of course. But perhaps, just perhaps, it would be... entertaining.
