In the sunny spring afternoon, the Banesworth courtyard started to bloom to life. Small buds of flowers were blooming, the grass was getting greener, and all signs that winter was long gone. Ffion sat on the benches, watching the pigeons crowd around the pavement. Her eyes lingered on one of them waddling away before she snapped back to reality.
"Tudor." a feminine voice called out to her.
Ffion straightened her back and stood as she watched Professor Nerys walk her way, clutching her cane as she did so. Her head dipped in a slight bow before speaking, "Yes, professor?"
"No need for such formalities, darling. I just need your help with something." The professor said softly, closing the distance between the two, "There was an absentee at the exams yesterday. I can't seem to reach them so if you would be a dear and meet them for me. These joints of mine aren't what they're used to."
"Of course, professor." Ffion responded with a cold air about her, "I already have an idea about who it was. I'll be sure to report back to you once it's all over." she muttered, offering a slight nod before turning tail.
There was no doubt about it, there was only one person who would be this free and easy. The one person who would get on not just her nerves, but on the lecturer's as well. Ffion sighed as she walked down the halls of Banesworth, her heels clicking against the cool tiles.
As she walked through the hallway, Ffion could feel the stares of students on her back. It was a feeling that she thought she got accustomed to, but it still sent shivers down her spine. Ffion tucked her hair behind her pointed ear, hand lingering over it for a moment before dropping to her side. Eventually, she made her way to her destination, an unused storage shed with a student posted out front.
"User," Ffion called out, crossing her arms over her chest as she stepped towards them, "Looks like you're being quite productive, aren't you? Now, what's this I hear about a student not attending their exams yesterday? Quite an undisciplined student, wouldn't you agree?"
