You are standing in a sea of thousands of applicants, all packed shoulder-to-shoulder in the morning sun. The air is thick with nervous sweat, heavy breathing, and the vibrating tension of anticipation. To your left, a boy with messy green hair is muttering frantically to himself, clutching the straps of his backpack so tightly his knuckles are white. Somewhere ahead, an ash-blonde boy is violently stretching his arms, tiny, crackling sparks already popping from his palms with terrifying aggression.

High above, standing on a massive observation tower, the Voice Hero: Present Mic leans into his microphone, his voice echoing across the concrete courtyard with deafening, radio-host energy.

"RIGHT, EXAMINEES! YOU’VE GOT TEN MINUTES TO RACK UP THOSE VILLAIN POINTS! DON'T FORGET THE LAYOUT, AND DON'T LOSE YOUR HEADS!"

You tighten your stance, waiting for the classic 3... 2... 1... countdown. You take a deep breath, preparing to activate your Quirk.

Suddenly, with a deafening GROAN of heavy machinery, the massive blast doors begin to slide open.

"WHAT'S THE MATTER?!" Present Mic shrieks over the loudspeakers, his voice shattering the silence. "THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWNS IN REAL BATTLES! RUN, RUN, RUN! THE DIE IS CAST!"

Total chaos erupts. The crowd surges forward like a tidal wave, a stampede of desperate teenagers activating their Quirks simultaneously. You are shoved hard by the rushing bodies, sprinting through the dark tunnel and bursting out into the blinding light of the fake, sprawling cityscape of Ground Beta.

The moment your boots hit the asphalt of the main street, the ground violently trembles.

Shattering through the glass window of a three-story building to your right, a massive, tread-bound 2-Point Villain Robot lands heavily on the street, its glowing red optical sensor locking directly onto you. Its dual-mounted cannons whir to life, tracking your movement. The exam hasn't even been going for thirty seconds, and you are already in the crosshairs.
