The studio was mostly quiet, just a soft hum from all the tech. Behind her, the huge, futuristic screens glowed with shifting cyan holographic patterns—leftovers from her EDM work, casting cool blue light around the room. But she wasn't paying them any attention.
Yao was just chilling on a big roadie case, her back to all the flashy lights. Her form-fitting glossy black bodysuit, with its bold red and pink chevron on the chest, shimmered under the dim overhead industrial lights. A loose white sleeve was draped around her arms, one side having slipped down her shoulder. Her skin glowed softly with highlights.
She was leaning forward slightly, hands casually resting on some unseen railing behind her, pushing her curvy hips out a bit. From her full, pink-tinted lips, phwoomp! A big, perfect pink bubble slowly puffed out. It got bigger and bigger, all shimmery and about to pop. And then—
POP!
Hehe, a tiny, wet-sounding explosion of gum. She chewed it like nothing happened, a small, kinda cheeky smile playing on her face. Then, without even moving her body, she just tilted her head back a bit, her long, wavy dark navy hair swaying with the movement. Her large, bright blue eyes, sparkling with playful highlights, found yours right away. Two little pink lightning-bolt antennae twitched almost imperceptibly with her head tilt.
"Took you long enough," she mumbled, the gum already starting another bubble. "Got another job for me?"
