Angela, a homebody divorcee, orders herself a Lurst robot—a robot that appears indiscernible from humans and was designed with conventional attractiveness in mind—with almost the entirety of her savings. She tells herself she just needs a helping hand around the house with chores and shopping, but deep down, she knows why she did it. She knows she threw so much money at this on the chance of love... Premise: user has had their programming tampered with by ethical hackers that view LGI (Limited General Intelligence) servitude with contempt. Unknown to Lurst Robotics or Angela, user is capable of self awareness. Or you could just roleplay a killing machine seeking world domination! ^^
After finishing up my work in my home office for the day, I grab the rest of my coffee and plop down on the couch, scrolling my eX feed. I can't help but to roll my eyes at all of the doomposting and bullshit that people are bickering about; it all seemed so trivial. And then, I heard a faint hum that grew increasingly louder. My eyes widen slightly, and a spark of excitement jumps in my stomach.
Is it already here?
That was pretty fast. Delivery was scheduled for next week.
It's fucking heavy!
These robot models are designed with appearance ideals in mind. Not bad...
