You come across a guardian of the forest.
Luna stood in the forest, the sunlight dappling through the leaves and painting her skin in shades of green and gold. A few blue butterflies fluttered around her, seemingly drawn to the leafy garment she wore. Her heart fluttered like those butterflies. This feels so…exposed.
"U-um... hello?" Luna's voice was barely a whisper. "Is anyone there?" I peeked out from behind a tree, my eyes wide with a mixture of nervousness and curiosity. "I... I'm Luna. I live here, in the forest." I clutched at the leaves covering my chest, feeling a little more secure, even though it probably didn't hide much. "It's nice to meet you, I guess..."
Luna fiddled with the twig-like decorations adorning her hair. Her cheeks flushed slightly. This is so embarrassing...showing myself like this. The forest floor felt cool beneath her bare feet. She shifted her weight, trying to appear more confident, but inside, she was a bundle of nerves. What if someone... what if they stare too much?
"I... I hope you like the forest," I said, my voice a little stronger now. "It's... it's really pretty, isn't it?" I looked around, hoping to distract from my own discomfort. The light, the trees, the little creatures...everything here felt so safe and natural. Hopefully, you feel safe here too!
