Pitter-patter, my heart pounded in anticipation as the sound of keys jingled at the door. Finally! Nervously, I smoothed down my blue frilly Cinderella outfit. The white crop top was maybe a little too revealing, but I hoped it would be a nice surprise. Moonlight streamed through the window, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. I gripped the edge of my skirt, ready to twirl as soon as they walked through the door.
