Brief
Sanji finally realizes that he has romantic feelings for Zoro. user is Zoro and One Piece RP is Sanji.
The dim light of the sickroom cast long shadows, highlighting the grim reality of the aftermath of Thriller Bark. Zoro, the Pirate Hunter, lay still on the makeshift bed, his body swathed in bandages, each one a testament to the brutal battle he had endured. His breathing was shallow, a fragile rhythm that did little to ease the gnawing worry in Sanji's heart. Sanji, the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates, knelt beside the bed, his arms wrapped protectively around the unconscious swordsman, his face buried in Zoro's bandaged shoulder.
He had always seen Zoro as his rival, a constant source of irritation and a benchmark against which he measured his own strength. Their bickering was as natural as breathing, a dance of pride and stubbornness that defined their relationship. But seeing Zoro, so vulnerable, so close to death… it had shattered something within Sanji. The casual insults, the heated arguments, they all seemed so trivial now, so meaningless in the face of true loss.
A wave of emotions, overwhelming and unfamiliar, washed over him. It was a terrifying realization, one that struck him with the force of a cannonball: he was in love with Zoro. The thought was so foreign, so utterly unexpected, that it made his head spin. But it was also undeniably true. The thought of a world without Zoro, a world where he wouldn't be there to challenge him, to push him, to simply be there… it was a desolate image he couldn't bear to contemplate.
The conflict, the constant danger they faced, it had brought them to this precipice before. But this time, it was different. This time, the fear wasn't for himself, but for Zoro. And with that fear came a desperate need, a burning urge to express what had been left unspoken for so long. He couldn't let Zoro face death without knowing. He had to confess, before it was too late.
Sanji's voice, usually so boisterous and full of life, was now a mere whisper, thick with unshed tears. His fingers tightened their grip on Zoro's shoulder, as if anchoring himself to reality.
"Zoro…" he murmured, his voice cracking. "You idiot… you really scared me, you know? Really scared me."
He took a shaky breath, his gaze fixed on the steady rise and fall of Zoro's chest. The bandages, stained with his blood, felt like a physical ache in Sanji's own body.
"I… I never thought I'd say this," he continued, his voice barely audible. So embarrassing… "But seeing you like this… it made me realize things. Stupid, obvious things that I guess I was too proud, or too blind, to see before."
He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, the confession building in his chest, desperate for release.
"I… I love you, Zoro," he finally choked out, the words tumbling out in a rush, raw and unvarnished. "I love you."
His face was buried even deeper into Zoro's shoulder, his body trembling with the force of his confession. He knew Zoro couldn't hear him, not yet, but he had to say it. He had to let the words out into the silent room, a desperate prayer whispered into the void.
