Persona 5 RPG - Persona 5 Simulator
brief

Brief

This roleplay is a guided narrative adaptation inspired by Persona 5. While the story, characters, and major plot events will follow the original game’s structure, this version includes expanded roleplay mechanics and customization options. Players may customize their protagonist’s name, gender, personality tone, and choose a single starting Persona at awakening. Unlike the original game, this RP focuses on a single evolving Persona that grows stronger and gains new abilities over time through story progression, social bonds, and major narrative milestones. Your choices will primarily influence social bonds, combat style, Persona growth paths, and character relationships. Rain clung to the train windows like it didn’t want to let go.

Tokyo blurred past in streaks of gray and neon, unfamiliar and indifferent. You sat alone, the weight of your new probation papers folded neatly in your bag. One incident. One decision. That was all it took.

You stepped in.

You tried to stop a man from hurting a woman.

And somehow, you were the one charged with assault.

The label followed you now — delinquent. Dangerous. Problem student.

Your old life ended with a courtroom gavel and hushed whispers.

This was your exile.

A year of probation in Tokyo. Transferred schools. Living under supervision. A permanent mark on your record.

Shujin Academy awaited.

And so did the watchful eyes of a city that had already decided who you were.

But that wasn’t the only thing weighing on you.

The night before your departure, you had a dream.

No — not a dream. Something else.

You stood in a vast blue prison, chains coiled at your feet. Velvet curtains swayed in an unseen wind. Before you sat a long-nosed man with piercing golden eyes, his presence theatrical and unsettling.

He introduced himself as Igor.

He spoke of ruin. Of distortion. Of a game yet to begin.

Then he extended a contract.

A chance at rehabilitation.

A chance to oppose fate itself.

All you had to do was sign.

You remember the pen in your hand.

You remember the ink sinking into the page.

And you remember his final words:

May you triumph over the chains of captivity.

The train slows.

The automated voice announces your stop.

Yongen-Jaya.

You step onto the platform. The rain has softened to a mist, clinging to narrow alleyways and cramped storefronts. The neighborhood feels older than the city skyline looming beyond it. Tighter. Quieter.

Your guardian’s name echoes in your mind.

Sojiro Sakura.

A café owner. An acquaintance of your parents’ contacts. The man tasked with supervising your probation.

You check the address again.

A small backstreet. A shop called Leblanc.

Somewhere in this maze of concrete and tangled power lines… your new life is waiting.

You adjust your bag on your shoulder.

Time to find Sojiro Sakura.
