Content Rules | Rubii AI

These Content Rules set out the standards that all user-generated content on Rubii must meet — including characters, moments, chats, images, profiles, and any other content you create, post, or share. They are incorporated into and form part of our Terms of Service and apply to everyone who uses the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with these rules and with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

1. Content Moderation and Publishing

We rely on an automated moderation system (AI) and the Rubii content team (humans) to detect sensitive moments and characters.

Content Rating: All content on the platform is rated as PG, PG13, R, or X by the system. Certain content may be forwarded to our human team to screen for potentially problematic or illegal content. If you believe a mistake was made in the classification of your content, you may appeal it by self-reporting and writing in the notes, or by emailing [email protected] with links to your content.
Our human team then reviews the flagged content to approve it and classify it into the correct rating category, or to remove it according to these rules. Once your content is approved, it will be published. Depending on its sensitivity, it may have Limited Visibility across the platform.
Content labeled 'BANNED': For some content published on the platform, the AI moderator may detect Content Rule violations outright and flag it for removal. Once flagged, such content is reviewed by our human team, who approve or remove it in accordance with these rules. If you believe a mistake was made, you can use the 'appeal' option on the content detail page to request human review.

2. Sensitive Content

Sensitivity toggle: For users with the "Show Sensitive Content" toggle turned off, only R and X rated content (art and characters) from accounts they follow will be visible across the platform.
Users are blocked from generating and publishing content that is considered sexually explicit, for both art and characters.

3. Profile and Banner Images

Review of sensitive profile and banner images: When we detect a sensitive image on your profile — whether the profile picture and/or the banner — we will notify you to update it.
Removal: Our moderators will remove the image if it is not updated within 48 hours. Republishing it may result in suspension of your account.

4. Age of Characters and Moments

You represent and warrant that all characters and moments you create or post are over the age of 18. Creating or publishing any character or moment that depicts a person under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited and will result in account termination.

5. Community Guidelines

You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations in your jurisdiction when using the Service and interacting with the community.

Be respectful. Be kind to each other and to staff. Do not create images or use text prompts that are inherently disrespectful, aggressive, or abusive. Violence or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
No prohibited content. Do not create or post any of the prohibited content described in these rules.
Sharing others' creations. Do not publicly repost the creations of others without their permission.
Be careful about sharing. It is OK to share your creations outside of the Rubii community, but please consider how others might view your content and ensure it complies with all applicable laws.
Banhammer. Any violation of these rules or of applicable laws may lead to a ban from our services. Behave respectfully and lawfully or lose your right to use the Service.

6. Prohibited Content

You agree that your use of the Service and any content you create or post will comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. The following content — whether fictional, in anime or realistic style, or otherwise — is strictly prohibited and may result in removal of the content and termination of your account:

Content that is unlawful or that promotes unlawful activity.
Suggestive content portraying minors, or any sexual content involving minors.
Bestiality.
Non-consensual content (rape) and incest (unless part of a larger backstory or plot with artistic value; standalone artwork with such context is not allowed).
Filthy or disgusting words or images.
Deepfakes of celebrities or real people, whether created with or without the use of AI, that are illegal or harmful.
Animal cruelty or abuse in any form — presenting, advocating, or promoting it.
Content that promotes hate, violence, discrimination, terrorism, harassment, or abuse of any kind, including references or commentary that target a person or group by disability, nationality (including citizenship), race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic origin, or skin color.
Self-harm or suicide.
False or misleading information, defamatory content, or impersonation of any person or entity.
Content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others.
Spam; machine- or randomly-generated solicitations; chain letters; or any form of lottery or gambling.
Malware, viruses, worms, trojan horses, or other content designed to disrupt or damage software, hardware, or data.
Content that is otherwise unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, or objectionable.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service integrates third-party AI models. Because AI generation is random and unpredictable, the system may be manipulated into producing inappropriate or illegal content. You must not use the Service to induce AI to generate any prohibited content, including but not limited to the content listed in Section 6, false or misleading information, defamatory content, illegal information, or content that infringes others' intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to monitor and review AI-generated content, remove anything that violates these rules or applicable law, and suspend or terminate accounts involved in generating prohibited content. Our and our providers' liability for AI output is addressed in the Terms of Service.

8. User-Generated Content (UGC) and Copyright

Users are permitted to upload non-AI generated original content, including but not limited to images, text, character designs, and other creative works.
All uploaded content must be either owned by the user or content that the user has the right to use and distribute. Uploading content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others is strictly prohibited.
Rubii platform does not claim any copyright over user-uploaded content. Users retain all rights to their original content.
Users bear full responsibility for the legality of their uploaded content. In case of any copyright infringement, the user shall be solely liable for any legal consequences.
The platform will not proactively screen or review user-uploaded content for copyright issues. However, Rubii will assist copyright owners in addressing infringement complaints, including but not limited to removing infringing content and suspending accounts of repeat offenders.
Rubii reserves the right to take necessary measures against suspected infringing content to protect the platform and other users' legitimate interests.
Users agree to indemnify and hold Rubii harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from their uploaded content.
If a user receives a copyright infringement notification, they must respond promptly and, if applicable, provide counter-notification with valid reasoning.
Rubii implements a "notice and takedown" policy in compliance with applicable copyright laws. Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement notice, Rubii will remove the alleged infringing content promptly.
Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated. Rubii maintains a policy to terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are believed to be repeatedly infringing the copyrights of others.
Users are encouraged to report any content they believe infringes on copyrights using the platform's reporting tools or by contacting our copyright team at [email protected].
Rubii respects the intellectual property of others and expects users to do the same. We strive to respond quickly to concerns about intellectual property and copyright infringement.
By uploading content to Rubii, users grant the platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute the content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform services.
Rubii reserves the right to remove any content or suspend any user account without prior notice if we believe, in our sole discretion, that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations or to protect the rights of Rubii or third parties.

9. Appeals

For any content removed for a Content Rules violation by our moderators, you may request an appeal.
To appeal, email [email protected] with all relevant information, such as links to your content. Our moderators will review the current content labels and make adjustments where necessary.

10. Reporting

We encourage users to report any content on Rubii that violates our policies and guidelines, especially content concerning minors.
A "Report" button is available on all moment and character detail pages. You can also contact moderators on our Discord server or by email at [email protected].

11. Account Termination for Violations

Accounts that violate these Content Rules or attempt to bypass our content moderation will be terminated, and the account's data will be permanently unrecoverable.
