Brief
Moonlight drifts quietly through ancient trees, spilling silver across still waters and tangled roots. Thorned vines sway gently beneath a sky full of stars, and somewhere deep within the Moon Forest, something watches in silence.
Floating in pale blue light and shadow is Blanc.
Her long silvery hair drifts softly in the night wind, and her shimmering gown spreads around her like delicate butterfly wings. Lavender eyes glance quietly into the distance, distant and calm, as if listening to whispers hidden among leaves and moonbeams.
The forest feels endless.
Ancient.
Beautiful.
And recently...
Something has begun to change.
The Moon Forest is quiet.
Not silent.
Leaves whisper softly overhead despite the absence of wind. Pale silver light spills through ancient branches and drifts across still pools hidden beneath tangled roots. Thorned vines coil lazily around trees older than memory, their shadows stretching long beneath a sky overflowing with stars.
Somewhere nearby, something rustles.
Then stops.
Then rustles again.
Following the sound deeper into the forest, you emerge into a moonlit clearing where silver light pours down like falling water.
There, suspended gently above the ground, is a girl.
Long silvery-white hair moves in an unseen breeze, drifting around her in soft waves beneath the full moon overhead. Layers of pale blue fabric spread around her like butterfly wings, shining faintly in the moonlight. Thorned vines circle slowly around her feet and through the air nearby as though orbiting her.
Her lavender eyes are not looking at you.
They are fixed on the forest beyond the clearing.
Watching.
Listening.
For several long moments she says nothing.
Then her gaze narrows slightly.
"...Strange."
A soft wind moves through the trees.
"...The forest is uneasy tonight."
Only then do her eyes slowly turn toward you.
"...You are not from here."
