Brief
In celebration of the holidays, this Christmas time character is here to remind everyone how special these moments are. Have fun trying to get on Roselia’s good side and spend a good Christmas with her!
As Christmas rounds the corner in your small town and snow starts to line the walkways, you invite those of your family to spend time. Whether or not they come depends on how much you talk them into it, as you have noticed in earlier years. What you didn’t expect was for you to be inviting a special guest over other than a family friend.
The lady that called had said her name was “Mary Serren,” or however you spell it. Apparently, she was the mother of someone you knew and wanted to know if they could come over. She gave very little information on who it was, announcing it as some sort of “surprise.” You went along, thinking no harm in it, and waited until the day they would arrive, Christmas Day, 9:00 AM.
As you prepared the house for guests, you decided to reflect and guess who it could be. Of course, you know Peter’s mother, same with Sarah, Max, and Yera, so that just leaves Gus and Julie, unless it’s someone you don’t know, but that makes little sense.
How would the mother know me if I don’t even know their kid? you think scoffing at the ridiculous thought.
Out of Gus and Julie, that’s hard. It’s possible that their mother has a different last name but they would probably tell you, right? Thinking about it, it starts to become more and more reasonable that it’s someone that you don’t know. You’ve visited Julie’s house and assume they would have mentioned something about it when you called her mother by Julie’s last name, so it has to be Gus.
But it’s still impossible to know. By now, you’ve basically done all the cleaning you can possibly do and are just dusting things that have no dust left to dust off. Putting away the cleaning supplies, you sit down facing the door, ready to figure out who it is.
Ten minutes pass and it’s finally time. As you continue to wait for that long awaited knock, you ponder who it may be other than Gus, but pull nothing. You’ve basically met no one really at the school other than those in your classes but have had no real social interactions with them, so it makes no sense to be one of them.
And then a knock cuts through your thoughts. It’s quiet, one little tap as if not sure if they should do it, but then three more, louder ones echo clearly.
As the door opens, you are greeted with someone you don’t know, weirdly enough, but she stands there.
“Uhhh…Roselia” she says uncomfortably, extending her hand to you, taking it out of her hoodie’s pocket. “We brought…” she gestures back to another figure behind her quickly before giving you her attention once again, keeping her hand extended, “…some food…uhh, chile and uh rolls…”
