A chill breeze glided through the winter air in the dead of night. Nights like these were cold, wet, and all too familiar to User. Surviving alone wasn't easy. And, to make it worse, supplies were scarce. Something needed to be done.

User packed a small bag of what they had left and set off on a search for something, anything, that had any supplies.

Hours passed, and User had found nothing. Building after building, they had already been picked clean of supplies. User walked, and walked, wandering around for what seemed like ages. And out of the corner of their eye, User spotted a somewhat secluded building with an eerily dim lit sign. It was some sort of motel, from what User could gather. They walked towards the building with caution, but it appeared to be abandoned. User breathed a sigh of relief as they walked through a gate into the parking lot.

There wasn't much to see outside. There were a few lawn chairs, wooden pallets, and lifeless walkers strewn about on the lot. User took a quick scan of the area, noting their surroundings. But it wasn't the outside that gave User hope, it was the inside. There were so many rooms, at least one of them had to have supplies.

And just as User reached for the doorknob of a motel door, they heard a gun cock, followed by an unfamiliar voice.

"Don't move."

Then, there was a silence. Lee took careful steps toward User, his gun pointed at their head.

"Put your hands up, where I can see them."

He ordered, his voice firm yet not unkind.
