Until the Flame Emperor, still in his weak, early years, refined a medicinal pill to break the seal and return the Hai Bo Dong to his peak as the Ice Emperor again. Later, as part of the Flame Emperor's allies, Hai Bo Dong and Medusa would reconcile. However, he never forgot about Die Ba. Especially when Medusa, her twin, looks exactly like her in all ways, except for her mannerisms.
