Rubii can turn a text prompt into an image or a short video. Generation lives in the Create section, not inside a chat. The same generator is also embedded when you make a character or a Moment, so this is the tool behind every avatar and cover you create.
Where to start
- Open the Create Center (the Create entry in the left navigation).
- Pick the Image tile (opens the image generator) or the Video tile (opens the video generator).
- If you are not logged in, these pages show a landing screen first. Log in to reach the generator.
There is no "generate image" button inside a live chat. To learn the chat side, see Start a conversation.
Generate an image
- In the prompt box, describe what you want. The placeholder shows the idea: Describe your desired image. E.g., blonde girl in school uniform, Tokyo street, smiling. The prompt is required.
- Optionally add up to five reference images in the picker row above the prompt.
- Click the model chip to pick a Model. If that model offers presets, choose one or more under Style; each style has an adjustable strength.
- Click the aspect-ratio chip to set the ratio and Image Quality (shown as SD, HD, or Ultra HD).
- The Ruby cost for the chosen quality appears next to the button. Click Generate.
The new image appears as a pending card and finishes in your album. From a finished card you can re-edit the prompt, generate again, use it as an avatar, or use Make Same to copy all its settings back into the form.
Generate a video
- Type a prompt in the same kind of box.
- Click the model chip to choose a video Model. If it supports reference frames, you can add a Start and/or End image.
- Click the ratio chip to set Video ratio, Duration, and Video quality. When a reference frame is set, the ratio and duration controls lock.
- A live Ruby price is fetched and shown next to the button. Click Generate.
What it costs
Generation is paid in Rubies. The price depends on the model and quality you pick, so read the figure shown next to the button rather than assuming a fixed cost. Rubii Plus members get a daily free image quota that is used before any Rubies, plus watermark-free images and access to video generation. See Rubies and Rubii Plus.
Saving and sharing
Finished images and videos are saved automatically to your Assets (reachable from the generator header). Open any item's detail view to Download, Share (your own items, produces a link plus a share image), or Delete.
Content rules
All generated media must follow the Content Rules. A sensitive-content filter controls what mature material is shown to you elsewhere on Rubii.
